Procedure for exporting data to the Taxprep software

INTRODUCTION

This function allows to export in a text file, the income of agents for a given period. Then, just import the generated file into the software TaxPrep Forms . Thus, This software makes it possible to produce T4A and Relevé 1.

PLEASE NOTE: if you are doing T4As for incorporated agents, the federal company number will appear if in the agent's profile, the "Company Name" field is completed. The broker’s social insurance number is present for the portion of his income before his company name is added.
If you have few brokers, it is possible to produce your T4A and Relevé 1 documents directly on the websites of the provincial and federal governments.

BEFORE STARTING

To print this list, simply go to the menu Reports> Non-agent brokers> Income

PROCEDURE

1. Go to Accounting> Export> Taxprep (T4A) and click on the Create a Taxprep file

2. Make sure you have a social insurance number for each of your agents.

3. Complete the selection of parameters: Branches, Agents, the period and the indicator "Generate income from incorporated agents". This indicator must be checked if you want to have slips for your incorporated brokers.
   For incorporated brokers, the federal business number in their profile must be completed.
   This number must absolutely be entered in the form 999999999RP9999 otherwise you will have to complete it manually in the Taxprep software.
