The first thing to do is to verify that the amount in ‘'receivable’' is the correct amount on the cheque.
If there is a difference, make the necessary ajustments adjustments and modify the transaction.

Cheque or Reference number: Cheque number or transaction number if payment was issued by electronic funds transfer.

Transaction closed date: According to the documents or no later than the date when you received the cheque.
