Listing management with new board update

TRREB Feed Update – Transitioning to RESO TRREB on March 15th

On March 14th, 2025, we will be updating our TRREB data feed to adopt the Real Estate standard Organization (RESO TRREB) format. This change brings several improvements to how listing statuses are managed and how agents appear in the system.

What’s Changing?

New Listing Status Process

  • Listings will remain in "Active and/or Conditional" status until their expiration date, unless manually updated by a user for a different status.

  • On the expiration date, if no action has been taken, the listing will automatically move to "Expired."

Listing Expiration & Status Control

  • Users now have more control over listing status updates. Listings will no longer automatically change to "Sold," "Suspended," or "Cancelled" based solely on board data.

  • If you manually update a listing’s status before it expires (for example, to "Sold"), the system will not send unnecessary expiration reminders and will not update the status as expired.

Expiration Reminders

  • Automatic reminders for listing expiration will only be sent if the listing’s status has not been manually updated.

  • If a listing has already been marked as "Sold" or another final status, no reminder will be triggered.

Agent Dropdown List

  • The agent selection dropdown will now only show agents who have an agreement with us.

Brokerage Notifications

  • Notifications to brokerages will better reflect the actual status updates made in the system, ensuring clearer communication and reducing unnecessary alerts.

What You Need to Do

  • Review your internal processes to ensure timely manual updates to listing statuses.

  • Be aware that the agent dropdown list will now only display brokers with active agreements.

  • Keep an eye on your reminder notifications, which will now be more targeted and only sent when truly needed.
