Location Sharing

For additional audit trail attributes, the clients have the ability to save their location to the session certificate.

 

Usually the browser will have its own dialog box that pops up when requested permission to share location. Click on allow or share location to start sharing!

 

 

 

How to allow location tracking in internet browsers from your computer.

 

IOS

Mac

 

  1. In the taskbar located at the bottom of your screen, click on the ‘'System preferences’' icon.

  2. Next, click on the ‘'Security and Privacy’' tab.

  3. Go to the ‘'Confidentiality’' section.

  4. Click on the small padlock located at the bottom left of the window entitled ‘Security and confidentiality’' and authorize the operation.

  5. Disable/Enable location according to the desired status. (You can also choose the application for which you want to share your location or not)

 

Warning: IOS users often tend to use ‘' Safari’' as the default search engine. It is therefore essential to check whether the localization is active or not for this application.

 

 

 

Windows

Chrome

  1. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right hand side of the screen

  2. Select ‘'Settings''

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on ‘'Advanced Settings’'

  4. Select the ‘'Site Settings’' option

  5. Select ‘'Location’'

  6. Toggle the “Ask before accessing location” option

  7. Allow or block the websites that ask for location tracking

 

 

Firefox

  1. Open the menu in Firefox by clicking the three lines at the top right hand side of the screen

  2. Click on ‘'Options’'

  3. On the left hand side of the options page, select the ‘'Privacy & Security’'

  4. Scroll down and under the ‘'Permissions’' section, click on ‘'Settings’' next to Location

  5. Select the sites you would like to share your location with and then save the changes

 

 

Microsoft Edge

  1. Select the three horizontal dots at the top right hand side of the screen

2. Select ‘'Advanced’'

3. Click on the manage permissions under the ‘'Website Permissions’' section

4. From there you should be able to modify the location permission to our website.

 

How to allow location sharing from your phone

IOS

  1. Go to settings ≥ Privacy ≥ Location Services.

  2. Enable location services. (It is also possible to desactivate your position after that)

  1. Swipe the screen from top to bottom.

  2. Touch and hold Location.

  1. If you don’t seethis option go to Settings.

  2. From the drop-down menu, click on Location and enable access to your location.
